We are Poppy & Mae, twin sisters, who grew up surrounded by fabrics, sketches, and the dream our mother built.

In 2001, she opened our small boutique in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. To her, fashion was never just about clothing — it was about confidence, grace, and helping women feel their very best.

But one day our mother became seriously ill. During that difficult time, we spent more and more days in the boutique beside her, learning the heart behind everything she had created.

When she passed away, it was one of the most heartbreaking moments of our lives. For a while, the boutique didn’t feel the same without her.

But we knew how much it meant to her.

So we made a promise to continue her dream and keep her spirit alive through the store she loved so deeply.

This year marks 25 years of Poppy & Mae Charleston. We’re celebrating this milestone not only with our wonderful community, but also in loving memory of our mother, who started it all.
